Link your account
Send Pilot a direct message, in Slack or in Google Chat. Pilot answers with a Link my Pilot account button: the link is personal, valid for 10 minutes and single use. Do not share it.
On Pilot's page, log in (with two-factor authentication if it is on), then confirm. If the address of your Slack or Google account is not the one of your Pilot account, Pilot sends you a 6-digit code in your chat app: enter it yourself on the page.
Once linked, Pilot answers with your permissions. The link is confirmed again every 90 days.
Switch workspace
In direct messages, Pilot works on one workspace at a time. To switch, run /pilot espace and choose the workspace.
Only the workspaces open to your Slack, or to your Google Workspace domain, are listed. An owner or admin of the workspace opens them in Pilot, Settings, Messaging.
Link a channel
An owner or admin of the Pilot workspace runs /pilot rattacher in the channel, then picks the language of Pilot's messages in that channel, French or English. Then mention @pilot to talk to it.
Every member of the channel sees Pilot's answers about that workspace, even those who are not members of it in Pilot. Channels shared with another company cannot be linked. To unlink a channel: /pilot detacher.
Unlink your account
In Pilot, open Settings, then My linked accounts, and click Unlink. Your Slack or Google account is no longer linked to Pilot.
Uninstall Pilot
Remove the Pilot app from your Slack workspace. Its access tokens are erased right away, and the related identities, channels and threads are deleted within 14 business days. Pilot conversations started in Slack stay in your Pilot workspace until you delete them.
In Pilot, an owner or admin can also close the workspace to Slack or Google Chat, in Settings, Messaging: people from that Slack workspace or domain can no longer ask about it, and its linked channels are unlinked.
Commands
/pilot aide shows what Pilot can do here. /pilot espace switches the workspace it works on. /pilot rattacher links a channel (owner or admin), and /pilot detacher unlinks it.
