Limits and plans
What a Pilot MCP plan counts, what happens at the limit, and what Pilot collects for your analyses.
Each Pilot MCP plan sets limits: tool calls per month, ad accounts, ad platforms, people, workspaces, assistant accesses per person and calls per minute. Your workspace console shows your plan and your usage this month. The plans offered and their prices are on the pricing page.
What a plan counts
| Limit | What counts |
|---|---|
| Tool calls per month | Every tool call executed counts as one, whatever the tool: search, fetch, a pilot_ analysis or an ad platform tool. The connection and the tool list do not count. |
| Ad accounts | Accounts that buy media (Google Ads, Meta Ads), attached to the plan's workspaces. The same account connected in two workspaces counts once. Google Analytics properties and Search Console sites do not count. |
| Ad platforms | The platforms connected to the plan's workspaces: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics and Search Console each count as one. |
| People | Members of the plan's workspaces, each person once, pending invitations excluded. |
| Workspaces | Workspaces attached to the plan, archived workspaces excluded. |
| Assistant accesses | Active accesses (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…) per person. |
| Rate | Calls per minute, for the whole plan: all assistants, people and workspaces together. Beyond that, Pilot answers 429 and the assistant retries a little later. |
An empty limit means "no limit". The month runs from the 1st to the last day, Paris time. The plan's payer receives an email when the account reaches 80%, then 100% of its calls for the month.
At the limit
A limit reached blocks, with no extra charge:
- Calls this month: further calls are refused until the 1st of next month. Your assistant receives a message that says so and gives the link to change plans.
- Ad accounts and platforms: the extra account stays pending in Pilot, as does the account of a platform your plan does not include; your assistant does not read it.
- People and workspaces: the addition is refused, with a message that names the limit. An invitation goes out while a seat is left; it is its acceptance that is refused when the plan is full.
- Assistant accesses: the authorization screen says so and refuses one more access; remove one from the workspace's Claude & ChatGPT page.
When you move to a smaller plan, the change is accepted. The accounts of a platform the new plan does not include then go pending first, then, beyond its limits, the most recently added platforms and accounts. People and workspaces stay, but no addition is possible while the plan is exceeded. Nothing is reactivated when you move up again: you choose your accounts again in Connectors.
Read-only
Pilot MCP plans are read-only: your assistant only receives tools that read, and the authorization screen only offers the Read level. Writes to the ad platforms stay in full Pilot, where every change goes through your approval.
Collection for analyses
Ad platform tools query the platform live, on every call. Pilot's analyses (cross-platform view, spend without results, budget pacing, spend concentration, data freshness) read the data Pilot collects every night.
For a Pilot MCP workspace, the nightly collection takes the accounts your assistants queried over the last 30 days, and those connected more recently and not queried yet: a new account has its data before your first question. An account nobody queries anymore leaves the nightly collection; it comes back as soon as an assistant queries it. pilot_data_freshness tells your assistant when data is old.
Trial
Pilot MCP has no time-limited trial: when a free plan is offered, it lets you start without a payment method, within its own limits. There is one free access per person: the workspaces you create afterwards join the same plan, within its limits.
