# Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask before connecting Pilot MCP, and their answers.

<Accordions>
<Accordion title="What is the difference between Pilot MCP and full Pilot?">

Pilot MCP gives your assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client) read-only access to your ad platforms. Full Pilot is the whole application: Pilot's chat, dashboards, automations, morning proposals and campaign changes you approve. A full Pilot workspace can also connect an assistant through MCP.

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="Can my assistant change my campaigns?">

No. Pilot MCP is read-only: no tool served creates, changes, pauses or deletes anything in your ad platforms.

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="Which assistants are compatible?">

Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP and can sign in with OAuth: Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code), ChatGPT and Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and many others. Clients without OAuth use an access key. See [Connect your assistant](/en/docs/brancher-son-assistant).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="Which ad platforms are served?">

Currently Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, read-only. Your assistant only sees those you connected and your plan includes. The tool list, platform by platform, is taken from the server: [Ad platforms and their tools](/en/docs/regies).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="Does my assistant see every account of my agency?">

No. It only reads the accounts attached to the workspace it was authorized to read, even if the access given to Pilot sees more. An agency usually opens one workspace per client. See [Account scope](/en/docs/perimetre-des-comptes).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="Who processes the data my assistant receives?">

What your assistant receives is processed by its provider under its own terms, including for training its models: check the privacy settings of your Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor account. What Pilot keeps is described in [Security and privacy](/en/docs/securite#conservation) and in the [privacy policy](https://pilot.braike.com/en/confidentialite).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="Do I need a card to start?">

No, when a free plan is offered: it lets you start without a payment method. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are on the [pricing page](https://pilot.braike.com/en/pricing).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="What happens if I reach a limit of my plan?">

The action is refused with a message that says so, with no extra charge: calls resume next month, or you change plans. See [Limits and plans](/en/docs/limites-et-forfaits).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="What is a skill?">

A skill is a folder of instructions in the open Agent Skills format (`SKILL.md`) that your assistant loads when a request matches it. Pilot MCP skills say which tools to call and how to present the result, for example for an account audit or a weekly report. See [Skills](/en/docs/skills).

</Accordion>
<Accordion title="How do I remove an assistant's access?">

On the workspace's **Claude & ChatGPT** page, **Active access** block, click **Remove**. The effect is immediate. See [Remove an access](/en/docs/brancher-son-assistant#retirer).
